About Us

Shape Invest was founded by seasoned real estate experts Nils Kaufmann and Jörg Krane, whose decades of experience encompass investments, financing, and strategic asset management.

Throughout their careers, they have been instrumental in the (re)development of iconic properties across Europe, achieving exceptional results.

Shape Invest operates as an independent, privately owned company with offices in Cologne and Berlin.

Nils Kaufmann

Nils spearheaded a pan-European investment management business for his former employer Jamestown. He played a pivotal role in developing a portfolio of 16 assets across six countries. He also defined the company’s investment strategy, led equity and debt procurement initiatives, and helped establish operations across Europe.

Jörg Krane

Jörg brings extensive expertise in acquisitions, sales, and strategic asset management. For his former employer Signa, he successfully managed transactions exceeding EUR 12 billion across Europe. He oversaw large portfolios of commercial properties, including offices, high-street and luxury retail, as well as hospitality assets.
